Artist Spotlight: RinZombie
Meet RinZombie
RinZombie, A.K.A Rin, is an aloof and shy artist who doesn't have much of a social media presence these days. A desk jockey by day, they enjoy exploring their artistic hobbies mainly on the weekends. Rin is credited with helping to create the original design for Modern Broadcast's channel mascot, as well as many of the images used on the channel and in related channel projects.
RinZombie's style takes a lot of inspiration from anime and videogames, blending fantastical elements with a style that walks the line between realistic and cartoon-y. For this collaboration, Rin was inspired by classic anime films, Y2K fashion, vaporwave, and the cyberpunk genre.
Sometimes, Rin dares to dream about creating artwork full time, but for now they're content to use their artistic abilities to support their long-time friend's YouTube channel.
